Ratale Mashifane Attorneys was established during February 2017 by Ratale Shadrack Mashifane the sole owner of the Law Firm. This firm is situated in the rural town of Nebo /Jane Jurse within the Municipal District of Sekhukhune in Limpopo Province. The decision to establish the firm in the said area was influenced by the experience on lack of quality legal services around the area of Makhuduthamaga, Elias Motswaledi and Ephraim Mogale local municipalities.
During his term as a Magistrate both District and Regional the founder realized that there were few Black attorneys in the area and the people in the area were left with little choice in the small pool of attorneys with whom they can consult in their own language and who can understand their cultural background. Instructing attorneys outside the Province or the District means higher legal fees and that becomes costly for the consumer. Having grown up in the rural area the funder understood the difficulties and legal challenges face by the rural communities
