Our story began with Illse Nieuwoudt, who graduated from the University of Pretoria with a B Com in Law, specializing in Accounting and Business Management, and later obtained her LLB degree. Illse has been admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer since 2008 and as a Notary Public since 2008.
She has also completed advanced certifications in Insolvency Litigation and Administration Practice.
ESME THOMPSON
I began my journey in January 1994 at a law firm in Pretoria, where I served as a secretary for one of the attorneys. During my tenure there, I developed a deep passion for working with deceased estates.
On 9 March 1999, I proudly completed my diploma in Insolvency Law from The Association of Insolvency Practitioners of South Africa.
I was appointed as a Commissioner of Oaths on 8 February 2011.
Since 1994, I have pursued numerous courses in Deceased Estates to broaden my expertise.
I have been managing deceased estates independently since 1997.
On 10 September 2020, I took on the role of Director at Gigantes Estates (Pty) Ltd, where I specialize in both deceased estates and insolvent deceased estates.
