Alet Uys holds BCom Law, LLB, and a Master of Laws in Family Law from the University of Pretoria and the University of South Africa, respectively, where she excelled academically and is set to pursue a Doctoral Study in Family Law. She served as a judge on the University of Pretoria Student Court and gained extensive litigation training at the University of Pretoria Law Clinic.

Alet Uys holds BCom Law and LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria, along with a cum laude Master of Laws in Family Law from the University of South Africa. Trained by esteemed Professor Jacqueline Heaton, Alet's high-quality dissertation led to positive peer feedback on her academic article.

 

During her undergraduate studies, she was a Golden Key International Honourary Society member and served as a judge for the University of Pretoria Student Court. Alet completed her clerkship at the University of Pretoria Law Clinic, gaining valuable legal training and ethical values.

 

Admitted as an attorney in 2015, she established her own law firm and gained recognition through notable cases, including the Hennie’s Restaurant unlawful arrest case. Her career highlights include reported cases in the Johannesburg Labour Court and media coverage in various publications. Alet is committed to ethical representation and welcomes all legal inquiries, regardless of size.
